Whether you’re young or not so young there’s something for you in the Air Training Corps.

Aged between 12 and 17?

If you are 12 and in year 8, then you’re eligible to join us. Find out about the activities we get up to, what we expect from you and what you can expect from our Squadron as well as the Air Training Corps. We guarantee you’ll never find another organisation that offers so many challenges, adventure and opportunity than the Air Training Corps! You can find out more about what we do here.

Anyone wishing to join our Squadron is welcome to join us on a parade night (Tuesday or Thursday 1900 start). Please bring a parent or guardian with you on your first visit.

Are you 20 years old or over?

If you are then you can join our squadron as a volunteer civilian or Civilian Instructor (CI) as we call the role. Anytime you can donate to helping out at the Squadron, on activities, camps or trips will be much appreciated. If you’re interested in becoming a uniformed member of staff a CI is where you start. Come down on a parade evening to meet the cadets and discuss the role with members of staff.

We’re not currently recruiting for Civilian Instructors but are still welcome enquiries and to find out what you can do help us, so please get in touch.

We also have an active Civilian Committee whom help run the Squadron from behind the scenes. This may be something else you’d like to get involved with – please come down and talk to a member of staff.
